Wars have been going on for as long as humans have existed. Even a thousand years ago, people fought for land, power or money, out of hatred or fear. But what were the consequences of wars for people? And what did children experience in war?
To answer these questions, we are travelling back in time to the Second World War. Seventy years ago, this war devastated many European countries. We will look at what children thought and wrote about their experiences during the war. And we will consider together why it is still important today to learn about the experiences of children during the war.
