The Wadden Sea is an exciting natural landscape that was recognised by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2009. The tidal flats fall dry twice a day due to low and high tide, which is a major challenge for plants and animals.

Explore the uniqueness of the Wadden Sea with us! We will conduct experiments to find out whether the blue mussel is comparable to a sewage treatment plant, whether plankton actually looks like the character from "SpongeBob" and we will observe the behaviour of the shore crab. We will also encounter the lugworm and migratory birds on the excursion
