Sure, you can hear music. But can you also see it? You can! Have you ever heard of "light painting"? You can use it to make music glow. How does it work? It's simple: you move around in the dark with glow sticks in different colours. Your movements are filmed and shown on a screen. This is a great way to visualise music and the mood we were in while listening to it.
In the lecture, you will learn about an exciting piece of music in which a dragon ride and dancing stars have been transformed into sounds. Want to bet you can see it? The Audimax will be transformed into a large experimental hall. If you like, you are welcome to bring your torch or bicycle light.
