Use alcohol swabs for cleansing the skin around the ear.

Apply a small amount of electrolyte to each individual sensor. We use Abralyt HiCl from   www.easycap.de , but other electrolytes should work as well.

Ask the participant to keep hair away from the ear and gently apply the cEEGrid. The grid is perfectly positioned when it is not touching the pinna (outer-ear).

Nearly ready to go! A key step is to check the skin-electrode impedances first. The impedances may take a little while to settle, similarly to cap-based EEG.
