Teacher training quality campaign (OLe+)
OLe+ project of the teacher training quality campaign
The OLe+ project at the University of Oldenburg is a development project funded by the BMBF as part of the teacher training quality offensive with the aim of improving the quality of teacher training. It also aims to achieve closer co-operation between educational sciences, didactics and specialised sciences as well as between the first, second and third phases of teacher training in teaching and research. The focus is on the three subject areas of dealing with heterogeneity, professionalisation and the theory-practice relationship.
In the Department of Computing Science Education, the OLe+ project focuses on the following areas:
1. promoting professionalisation: In this core process, the aim is to improve teaching and study by developing, testing and evaluating concepts, curricula and modules as well as teaching-learning formats.
2. set up theory-practice spaces: To promote the systematic dovetailing of
theory and practice, the Computing Science learning lab will be further developed and expanded as a meeting place between student teachers and pupils and as an extracurricular learning space for Computing Science teachers.
