When pop culture goes science! Under this motto, an interdisciplinary working group of students explored the visual album Lemonade (2014) by Beyoncé in winter semester 2017/2018. In order to present the results obtained so far and to advance research on this current topic, a call for papers was issued for the symposium "Let's Squeeze That Lemon!". Campus radio" project semester
For the first time, a project semester entitled "Campus radio" will take place in the Integrated Media master's degree programme in summer semester 2013. During the project semester, students will work on the topic of radio in various courses. These will culminate in joint project days (26.06 - 28.06.2013), during which the results will be presented, discussed and made public. In cooperation with the local radio station oeins, a campus radio station is to be established as a university-wide institution that will regularly produce student programmes beyond the project.
All participating seminars are labelled with the hashtag #Campusradio and shed light on the topic of radio from different angles. During the three project days, students work together in workshops, guest speakers appear and programmes are produced. Active participation in the project days can be recognised as an examination achievement in the various courses involved.
At the end, the campus radio will start broadcasting.

"De/regulation of the communication space Internet"
Lecture by Dr Stefan Münker as part of the Integrated Media guest lecture series
26.01.2012, 14:00-16:00, KMS
After Prof. Karlheinz Brandenburg and Prof. Tim Renner presented their thoughts on the future of digital media in the Integrated Media guest lecture series in previous semesters, Dr Stefan Münker is now a guest of this series in WS 11/12.
"Is Web 2.0 the utopia of a democratic reutilisation of mass media that has become reality, and thus the media building block of a new form of social public sphere? Or is it just a fanciful business model? 'Web 2.0' is more than just a buzzword - it symbolises a radical and unstoppable change, not just in our media, but in our world." (Edition Unseld)
