The Integrated Media master's degree programme offers the opportunity to study the master's degree programme in combination with another master's degree programme as a double master's degree.

Examples:

• Master of Education Art or Music (plus the 2nd subject)
• Musicology
• Art and Media Studies
• but also thematically more distant master's degree programmes

With the additional master's degree programme in Integrated Media , you expand your knowledge, skills and qualifications in the field of audiovisual media in theory and practice. This will also broaden your academic appointments.

You can study the two Master's programmes and their courses side by side as they fit into your timetable. Some seminars and modules can even be credited twice (in the masters in art or music, some of the modules overlap, but modules can also be credited for the area of specialisation.
However, due to the majority of course content, your studies will be extended by an average of 2 semesters. This means that you can study for 3 years on the Master's programme, but gain one more Master's degree.

It is also possible to write only one Master's thesis for both degree programmes and then have it credited for both degree programmes. It is important to ensure that the Master's thesis also covers the content of both degree programmes . For example, if you are studying Art to become a teacher, you can write your Master's thesis in Integrated Media and have it recognised for the Master of Education (by prior arrangement!).

Also important: the tuition fees do not increase if you study a double Master's programme.
