The editors Thari Jungen and Friederike Nastold cordially invite you to the presentation of issue no. 67 of FKW // Zeitschrift für Geschlechterforschung und visuelle Kultur, which was published in November 2025.

Nanna Lüth and Wiebke Trunk, who is represented in the issue with a contribution on "Blood and Soil - Interrupting the Myth", invite you to take a fresh look at art from the Nazi era under the title "Cracking Nuts Today".

Issue no. 76, entitled "Re-reading the garden: queer ecologies, colonialism, violence ", addresses the question of whether an examination of the garden as an ecosystem en miniature can provide answers - as well as pose further questions - about how we want to live together in the future. The texts collected here do not want to think of the garden as an idyllic counter-place to the violent, extractivist and techno-capitalist ruins of capitalism, but as a space in which this reality can be negotiated. Instead of starting from an anthropocentric paradigm that perpetuates binary and hierarchical divisions of nature/culture, wilderness/garden or human/plant and the associated gendered and colonial forms of exploitation, the issue aims to contribute to thinking the relationality and reciprocity of more-than-human life as a processual relationship.
