House shell
House shell
Prof Dr Carsten Ahrens (University of Applied Sciences Oldenburg/Ostfriesland/Wilhelmshaven)
Do you also like it quiet when you're doing your schoolwork or sleeping at home? And if you make a lot of noise yourself when playing or listening to music, it would be great if the neighbours or your parents and siblings didn't necessarily notice.
If you lean against a wall in your room, it shouldn't be uncomfortably cold and if you hold your nose in the air, there shouldn't be a draught. You certainly wouldn't want wet walls or even mould in the corners of your room. And your parents also want to spend as little money as possible on heating. How does it all fit together? How do the experts measure and assess the "shell" of a house? And how do you build such a house? Please note: Participation is only possible with an admission ticket.
Tickets are available from Monday, 13 September at the Info Point in the canteen foyer, Uhlhornsweg. (Mon-Thu: 9:00-17:30 and Fri: 9:00-15:00).
