Learning and teaching architecture
A range of different modern seminar forms and learning methods help to develop methodological and social skills in equal measure.
Case Study
Students analyse complex and unstructured problems from practice, develop independent proposals for solving problems and learn to evaluate and present these professionally.

Panel discussions
Panel discussions are particularly suitable for the unconventional exploration of complex research topics. Relevant literature on the various positions of the research subject is made available to the students. During a panel discussion, students take on the different roles of the actors involved in the scientific dispute and defend "their" point of view. This not only opens up a challenging research topic. The students also gain an in-depth insight into the procedures involved in scientific disputes.

Simulations
Software can be used to simulate the management of a consulting firm. The participants have to deal with various questions and challenges: How many clients should be acquired? How many consultants should be hired? How much should be invested in the training and further education of the consultants? ... And much more.

Consultancy projects
Students can apply their theoretical knowledge in real-life consulting projects with companies. The specific problems faced by clients require analytical skills as well as creativity.
In previous projects, the range of tasks and projects has proven to be very diverse: from very elementary and strategic issues, market analyses and marketing concepts to controlling issues or logistics problems.

Outdoor modules
Another opportunity to develop social skills is offered in the outdoor modules. These excursions are organised in co-operation with ecco Unternehmensberatung. This gives students a different approach to certain subject areas. The topics covered in the lecture, such as "change management", can be "experienced" by the students away from the lecture theatre. The experiences gained are discussed and reflected on together in the group.
