History student body
Welcome to the website of the History student body!
On the website of the History Student Body we provide you with information about studying and the subject of History at the University of Oldenburg. "Fachschaft" actually means the entirety of the students of the subject of History, but in a narrower sense it refers to the Student council of the History department.
Our tasks:
The primary task of the Student council is to represent the interests of the students. To this end, the History Student Council sends representatives to various university committees and is currently represented on the Institute Council for History, the Faculty Council of Fak. IV, as well as in the F3V and the Study Commission of Fak. IV study commission. We also organise various events, such as parties and pub evenings, and try to give first-year students a great start to their studies. The O-Week is intended for this purpose, during which we are available to answer any questions and help you settle into everyday university life. One of the event highlights is the annual mulled wine drink. All students and the chair are welcome here!
Our goal is a constant exchange between students and lecturers in the subject of history and, in addition, to ensure the best possible study conditions for you in the subject of history.
When we meet:
We meet during the lecture-free period as required. Regular meetings take place at the start of the semester.
