Dear Philosophy students,
Enclosed is the programme for the upcoming O-week.
First things first
What does compulsory attendance, active participation and attendance certificates actually mean? You can find more information about the organisation or administration of your studies under "Information about studying".
At the beginning of the winter semester, the Philosophy Student Council organises an info café to provide a framework for answering questions about studying, the university and timetabling over tea, coffee and biscuits. There is also a campus tour, a pub evening at Marvin's in Rosenstraße 6 and several workshops.
In the winter semester, a film series has been taking place at Cine K for many years. This year we are organising the series under the title Philosophy and Film known as Philosophy and Film. You can find it in Stud.IP via the event name"Philosophie & Film" or the event number "4.03.998". The film series takes place on Tuesdays from 6.30 p.m. - approx. 10 p.m. (including discussion).
