Schedule
To ring in and support the start of your studies, we would like to welcome you to beautiful Oldenburg during the O-Week (6-10 October)! We have listed our O-Week events for you here. You are cordially invited to join us at as many events as possible.

Monday 6.10.25, 16.00 and from 20.00
A tour of the city to get to know the area and enjoy a beer (meeting point: Julius-Mosen-Platz, at 4.00 pm). In the evening, we'll first take a short break for dinner in the city, then we'll end up at the umBAUbar at around 8 pm. You are also welcome to join us later at the umBAUbar :)
Tuesday 7.10.25, 1.00 pm
Going to the canteen together in small groups (bring your CampusCard if possible). Meeting point: zebra crossing on Uhlhornsweg.
Tuesday, 14.00-15.30 hrs

Flunkyball tournament & Umbaubar
Flunkyball tournament together with the History student body in Gleispark (at the railway station)
If you like, you can go to the Umbaubar afterwards.

Canteen together in small groups (bring your CampusCard if possible). Meeting point: Zebra crossing on Uhlhornsweg (right next to the bridge over the road) or go to the timetable help desk in front of it.

Campus rally
Meeting point: A01 0-004
The campus rally is alcohol-free! It is also completely normal and okay not to drink alcohol at the other events.
Wednesday, from 19.00 hrs
Pub night in the Irish Pub/The Pub at Wallstraße 19, which is also a great place to meet before the interdisciplinary freshers' party at the university.
We meet at 19.00 directly in front of the door. You are also welcome to join us later :)

Here you will receive information from lecturers on the Economics Education programme (irrelevant for PoWi students).
