Ich interessiere mich für die Ökologie von vaskulären und nicht-vaskulären Epiphyten gemäßigter Wälder. Insbesondere forsche ich an der Reproduktionsbiologie epiphytischer Farne und ihre Toleranz gegenüber Umweltveränderungen. Diese Informationen sind wichtig für die Ex-situ-Erhaltung bedrohter Arten und tragen zur Erklärung der Verbreitung von Farnarten auf verschiedenen räumlichen Skalen bei.
