Students at the University of Oldenburg can have their extracurricular competences credited to study modules. To do this, they create a credit transfer portfolio with the support of the PLAR service, which they submit to the Examinations Office.

Subject representatives of the relevant degree programmes decide on the basis of the portfolios whether there is an equivalence between the competences acquired outside of higher education and the learning outcomes of the study modules and whether they will be credited.
