The Student council is the elected representation of all co-op students from Oldenburg and Bremen. However, it is often also referred to as the student body. The members of the student council are elected at the student assembly, which regularly takes place at the beginning of the winter semester. Alternatively, you can also join the Student council at any time by voting at a later date.

We are always happy to welcome new members, as it is not only the end of a degree programme that causes members to leave. We are currently urgently looking for new members for all co-op subjects! So if you would like to get to know new people, help your fellow students and get involved in improving co-operation between the two universities, then please come along to our student council meetings, contact us by email or on Facebook (see left). What does the Student council do?

First and foremost, the student council is responsible for representing the interests of all co-op students - i.e. your interests! So please write to us with your wishes, suggestions and problems or get in touch with us. We always have an open ear for you and are happy to help.

Our tasks also include

• Committee work (StugA in Bremen; F3V; Presidium meetings etc.)
• Collaboration with the cooperation officer
• Student counselling
• Organisation of the orientation week and other events (e.g. games evenings)
• Mediation between students and lecturers, Examinations Office and BAföG office
• Long-term improvement of co-operation between Oldenburg and Bremen
