Every year, the so-called O-Week (orientation week) for new students takes place at the beginning of the semester. This year's O-Week runs from Monday 06.10.25 to Friday 10.10.25.

During these 5 days, the university, together with the student bodies, offers numerous events from morning to evening. These include, for example, information events, workshops, parties and other events to make initial contacts. (You can find the exact plan for biology students on TBA)

As your studies have only just started, not everyone has a flat or shared flat available at the time of the O-Week. We would therefore like to offer the commuters among you the opportunity to enjoy your O-week without the stress of commuting.

So if you are one of the people affected, you can register here for couchsurfing until 01.10.25. We will then try to accommodate you with someone from the student body according to your wishes.

If we can allocate you a place, you will then receive a confirmation from us together with the contact details of your contact person. If a placement is not possible, you will of course also be informed.
