Portrait painting group
How does it work?
This is not a course but a free practice group.
Each session starts with a short round of introductions (names, pronouns, etc.), after which we spread out around the room and draw each other/model each other. From quick drawing exercises to longer poses, everything is included. Bring your favourite drawing materials! There is no set technique or drawing style!
We also have limited materials in the frei_raum that can be used and tried out by everyone.
Only those who wish to model will do so. Always clothed.
The group is allowed to mould and manage itself. It is important to us that everyone feels comfortable and that there is room for individual exercises, which is why there are always at least 2 contact persons from the Student council on site.
Each session lasts approx. 2 hours with a short coffee break in between.
Who can take part?
The course is open to everyone, regardless of degree programme. No previous experience is necessary.
When & where?
The painting group always meets in the frei_raum (A8 0 005).
For dates and times, please join the study group.
If one of the dates doesn't suit you, just come along to the next one.
Even if you can only come for one of the 2 hours, you are welcome to come along for the rest of the time.
What do I need to bring with me?
Bring your favourite drawing materials! Whether coloured pencils, ink, fineliner, chalk or something else! There is no set technique or drawing style.
We also have limited materials in the frei_raum that can be used and tried out by everyone. There are chairs and tables in the room and some easels that can be used.
