Dr. Muhammad Yasir
Muhammad Yasir received the bachelors and masters of science degrees in electronic engineering from Politecnico di Torino, Italy in 2012 and 2014 respectively. He received his PhD degree in electronics, computer science and electrical engineering from the University of Pavia, Italy in 2019 where he worked on tunable passive microwave components based on graphene. During his PhD, he was a visiting researcher with the IMT Bucharest where he worked on the integration of graphene self switching diodes and planar antenna arrays.
Muhammad joined the Department of Electronics and Telecommunications of the Politecnico di Torino, Italy as a Research Fellow in 2019 where he worked on the applications of passive microwave components in sensing and tunability and on the microwave characterization of carbon based materials. Since November 2020 he is working as a Senior Researcher at the Division of Microrobotics and Control Engineering at the University of Oldenburg. Throughout his career, Muhammad has been trying to bridge the gap between nanomaterials and microwaves by designing innovative microwave components.
