Aims of the module

Subject-specific issues in gender studies are explored in depth and possible links to concepts of interdisciplinarity and transdisciplinarity are reflected upon. Based on the respective goals and specialisations of the students during their studies or for further career paths, the courses serve to develop individual profiles.

Module content

(Partial) modules and non-module-based courses from all School subjects with a designated gender perspective.

• You can therefore select individual courses from the advanced modules and include them in the free module or you can attend courses from other Schools and include them in the free module. The latter is only possible in consultation with the Student Advisory Service.

• 6 CP
• Presentation (15 to max. 30 minutes, written elaboration max. 10 pages)
• or written exam (max. 90 minutes)
• or oral examination (max. 20 minutes)
• or portfolio (max. four partial performances)
• 9 CP
• Seminar paper (synopsis 1-2 pages, text 10-15 pages)
