Gender-reflective, intercultural and transdisciplinary competences are relevant today in the public sphere, business, science, culture and education. Depending on the combination of subjects, the degree programme opens up access to a wide range of professional fields:
- Institutions of extracurricular education
- Cultural institutions and media
- University and research institutions
- Development co-operation institutions
- Human resources management in business and administration
- (inter)national equality organisations
After completing the Bachelor's degree, students have the opportunity to acquire a Master's degree in "Cultural Analysis: Representation, Performativity and Gender" at the University of Oldenburg or to participate in Master's programmes at universities within and outside Europe. Master's graduates can apply for the doctoral degree programme "Cultural Gender Studies" at the University of Oldenburg.
