This teaching unit introduces the technique of screen printing.
Using step-by-step instructions, the various stages leading up to the printed T-shirt are clearly explained.
Firstly, a simple and quick way of designing a logo or lettering for printing is shown. The pupils can then prepare the screens for printing with the logos they have designed themselves.
Firstly, the pupils learn how to coat the screens. This work step is followed by screen exposure and development.
Once the screen has been developed, the clothing
can be printed.

For this unit, in addition to consumables:
Masking tape
Foil/painting fleece
Photo emulsion
Printing ink

the necessary tools should be procured:
Squeegee
Spatula
Screen
Yellow light lamp
If necessary, exposure box
If necessary, screen printing table
