Barthel Pester is a journalist and organises the Repair Cafés in Oldenburg as part of the "Short Paths for Climate Protection" project funded by the Federal Ministry for the Environment. He supports the increasing presence of initiatives for resource-saving lifestyles.

Sepp Eisenriegler, founder and Managing Director of the repair and service centre R.U.S.Z, initiator of "die umweltberatung" Vienna and ReparaturNetzWerk Vienna, Chair of the national umbrella organisation for the social economy RepaNet, former President of the EU umbrella organisation for the social economy RREUSE, author of the book: KONSUMTROTTEL
Stefan Schridde
Stefan Schridde is the initiator of the campaign and board member of MURKS? NEIN DANKE! e.V., a civic consumer protection organisation for sustainable product quality and against planned obsolescence. Stefan Schridde will give a short lecture on this topic at the Student University.
Christian Dierking
Christian Dierking is a technology teacher at IGS Kreyenbrück. He initiated the Repair Café in the district and supports the pupils in organising and running it. He also prepares them for carrying out repairs in technology lessons.
Klaas Krieger
Klaas Krieger is a technology teacher and vice headmaster at OBS Uplengen. The particular strength of this MINT school lies, among other things, in the interdisciplinary realisation of large-scale projects, in which numerous extracurricular partners from the region are involved. Repair plays a prominent role in this.
Ina Hemmelmann
Ina Hemmelmann is a member of the Repair Initiatives Network. The network offers volunteer-organised repair projects the opportunity to share their knowledge with other initiatives and acts as a point of contact for questions relating to the founding, organisation and implementation of their own repair initiative. The coordination centre operated by anstiftung advises the initiatives and networks the players throughout Germany.
Katharina Dutz
Dr Katharina Dutz is a qualified rehabilitation teacher, special needs teacher and research assistant at the Technical Education Working Group (ATB) at the University of Oldenburg. Her areas of research include technology assessment and sustainability communication in educational contexts. She heads the DBU-funded RETIBNE project.
