Introduction
The film clip from Welt der Wunder provides a brief introduction, clearing up misconceptions about rebound effects. Worksheets 1 - 5 confront the pupils with various examples of rebound effects. They each read a worksheet in their small group and present their examples in plenary. Further examples are then found from their everyday lives. The teacher uses the PowerPoint presentation to explain the terms rebound and backfire and the difference between direct and indirect rebound effects. Various causes of rebound effects are presented. Finally, the plenary discusses how rebound effects can be prevented using the last slides of the PowerPoint presentation.
Preparations
A sufficient number of worksheets must be copied. A projector and PC must be available for the presentation of the film and the PowerPoint presentation.
