Internships
Internships in the 2-subject Bachelor's programme
Orientation internship
As part of the 2-subject Bachelor's programme (if you are studying outside of school, this does not have to apply to you), an orientation internship (prx101) must be completed. This can be completed either in the subject of technology or in the second subject.
Under certain circumstances (e.g. completed vocational training), you can have the orientation internship recognised. You can find more information here.
School internship
Teacher training students must also complete a school internship:
- Special education and technology: prx103 (internship in the professional field of school)
- other (first) subject and technology: prx102 (General school internship - ASP)
Excursions
Three excursions must be completed in the course of the technology programme. Special needs teachers have time for this in the Bachelor's and Master's degree programmes, all others must already complete these in the Bachelor's degree programme. Further information can be found here.
Internships Master of Education Technology (GHR300)
The Master's programme includes the longest practical phase of the entire course. This involves an 18-week work placement. As part of this practical phase (prx560), a preparatory, accompanying and follow-up course must be taken in the subject of technology. Further information on the practical phase in the GHR Master's programme can be found here.
