That's right, it's the rivers and lakes!

Only three per cent of the water on earth is fresh water, 97% of the water is salt water in the oceans. Most of the fresh water is stored in glaciers and in the snow cover at the poles. Around 30% of fresh water is in the ground, only a fraction of this water is accessible and usable for us. 0.3% of fresh water is in lakes and rivers and therefore easily accessible for use.
