The Bachelor’s degree programme in Environmental Sciences offers students an in-depth initial insight into the fields of the environment, natural sciences and environmental planning. It introduces relevant scientific aspects and provides information on current environmental problems and possible solutions. Both marine and terrestrial systems are covered in equal measure. Each university places different emphases on the course content, which is why environmental science Bachelor’s programmes at different universities are not easily comparable.
In Oldenburg, the programme has a natural sciences focus. It offers a wide range of electives and diverse specialisation options throughout the course.
