Learning centre

The learning centre for mathematics & elementary mathematics
The learning centre is an offer for you students to help withmathematicalquestions about yourcoursesor problems on your exercise sheets.
During the lecture period, one or two tutors (students from higher semesters) are available for two hours every day to provide you with advice and support. The Learning Centre Mathematics & Elementary Mathematics is organised by the Institute of Mathematics in cooperation with the student body Mathematics and Elementary Mathematics.
Even though the learning centre is most likely to be used by maths students in their first semesters, the service is aimed at all students who have questions about content and exercises as part of their maths courses.
So if you are stuck with a problem or would like to have something explained again, just drop by and we will be happy to help you!
How the learning centre works
Useful information on utilisation
- The learning centre is located on the ring level in the area of the large lecture hall.
- A tutor will be available there to answer your questions at the times listed.
- Although all tutors should be able to help you with most questions, you can find the respective subject areas in the timetable.
- Please have your exercise sheets and your previous notes ready. It can also be very useful to bring some scratch paper for new notes.
- If the learning centre is currently being used by other students, we would be grateful if you could be patient and wait until a tutor has time to answer your questions.
