The focus of this lesson is the repair of a defective hose. With the help of step-by-step instructions, the pupils will carry out the repair largely independently in small groups. The first step is to find the leak on their wheel and then seal it. These work steps are framed by the removal and installation of the wheel.

There should be enough bicycles available for this lesson. Each bike should have a flat tyre. The front tyre is somewhat easier to remove and fit and should therefore be repaired by less experienced pupils and the assembly instructions should be printed out in the appropriate number.
