Research Interests:
My research focuses on dynamical systems constituted of multiple interacting elements. For this class of systems, I make use of high-dimensional mathematical models to investigate the dynamical transformations undergone by the system elements under the influence of their connections. In this context, I dedicate special attention to the following phenomena:
- Transient dynamics
- Abrupt transitions (Tipping Points)
- Onset of persistent irregular solutions (Chaos)
- Synchronous dynamics among the system elements (Synchronization)

Vulnerability of Synchronization in Complex Networks due to Chaotic Saddles.
