Learning centres
Learning centres are offered for the basic maths and physics lectures in the first and second semesters, as well as biology in the first semester.
The learning centres are organised by the student body. Students from higher semesters offer to help with the preparation of the task sheets from the lectures.
Everyone is welcome to join in!
Learning centres SoSe 2025
R introductory course
The mat985 module requires basic knowledge of the operation and use of the R programme in the second semester. Many basic questions are asked in the mathematics learning centre.
The learning centre cannot do this during the semester, as the entire time is needed to work through the exercise sheets. We will therefore offer a preparation course shortly before the start of the lecture period. The preparatory course is intended to give you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the R programme in peace and quiet.
The R introductory course in SoSe25 took place on 02/03 April. The corresponding files can be found in the UWI Community Forum.

Learning centres WiSe 2024/25
Learning centres in biology, maths and physics will be offered again in the winter semester. The exact times and rooms will be announced.
Physics takes place every fortnight (....) in room (...) upstairs in the ICBM building.
Bio is every fortnight (...) in room (...)
Maths is alternating: with physics (...) clock or (...) clock always in room (...).
It may all sound confusing at first - that's why all the dates are listed again in the study group's calendar.
We try to offer all hybrid, i.e. in presence and online. You can access the meeting online via the "Meeting" tab in the study group.
