Learning centres
Learning centres are offered for the basic maths and physics lectures in the first and second semesters, as well as biology in the first semester.
The learning centres are organised by the student body. Students from higher semesters offer to help with the preparation of the task sheets from the lectures.
Everyone is welcome to join in!
Learning centres SoSe 2026
R introductory course
The mat985 module requires basic knowledge of the operation and use of the R programme in the second semester. Many basic questions on this are asked in the mathematics learning centre.
The learning centre cannot do this in the semester; all the time is needed to work through the exercise sheets. That's why we offer a preparation course shortly before the start of the lecture period. The preparation course should therefore give you the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the R programme in peace and quiet.
The R introductory course in SoSe26 took place on 17/19 March. The corresponding files can be found in the UWI Community Forum.

Thursdays 18:15 - 19:45 in W15 1-146 (from 16.04.26)
For the learning centres there is again a study group on Studip.
