In the first lesson of this unit, defective mobile phones are disassembled into their individual parts with the help of video tutorials. The evaluation of the video tutorials with regard to their feasibility is an essential part of this lesson. The aim is to show the students that, on the one hand, disassembling a modern smartphone is not easy. On the other hand, however, students should recognise in this lesson that a structured and guided approach is helpful, if not necessary, when dealing with technical tasks. The second double lesson ties in directly with the content of this lesson, as determining the main assemblies/parts and the materials used in the disassembled smartphones is part of the second lesson.
