Michelle Murken

Short Bio

Michelle Murken is a PhD student at the University of Oldenburg (Germany). She received a Master of Arts in Rehabilitation Pedagogics from the University of Oldenburg and a Bachelor of Arts in Public Health from the University of Bremen (also Germany).

Her research interest lies in the interface of health care and pedagogy/social science using qualitative as well as quantitative research methods. Specifically, her research covers demand-oriented and patient-centered health care services, individual coping skills for chronic diseases including resources and barriers, as well as subjective and objective quality of life.
