The Master's cluster of the Center for Environmental and Sustainability Research (COAST) at the University of Oldenburg is certainly interesting in this context.
Possible Master's degree programmes
In principle, many Master's programmes are possible as long as the application criteria are met. In most cases, a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science is sufficient (depending on the specialisation and requirements of the university, it may of course also be necessary to take additional modules; you can find information on the websites of the respective universities).
There are many Master's degree programmes that deal with environmental science issues. There are now a wide range of courses on offer in the natural sciences (e.g. geoecology, environmental chemistry, environmental physics, etc.), environmental modelling, environmental technology and environmental engineering (e.g. renewable energies), as well as in the field of environmental economics and sustainability.
At the University of Oldenburg, the following Master's degree programmes are particularly suitable:
- Marine Environmental Sciences (MUWI)
- Landscape Ecology (LÖK)
- Environmental Modelling (UMMO)
- Microbiology (MIBI)
- Marine Sensor Technology (MarSens)
- Water and Coastal Management (WCM)
- Sustainability Economics and Management (SEM)
- Postgraduate Programme Renewable Energy (PPRE)
- European Renewable Energy Centres (EUREC)
