Possible Master's degree programmes
In principle, there are many Master’s programmes available, provided the entry requirements are met. In most cases, a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science is sufficient (depending on your specialisation and the university’s requirements, you may, of course, need to take additional modules; you can find details on the websites of the respective universities).
There are many master’s degree programmes to choose from that deal with environmental science issues. There is now a wide range of courses available in the natural sciences (e.g. geoecology, environmental chemistry, environmental physics, etc.), in the fields of environmental modelling, environmental technology and environmental engineering (e.g. renewable energies), as well as in the fields of environmental economics and sustainability, there is now a wide range of degree programmes on offer.
At the University of Oldenburg, the following Master’s degree programmes are particularly well-suited:
