Eventuell ist es für Ihren Bedarf passend, statt einer eigenen Publikationsliste die Hochschulbiografie des BIS einzubinden:

Publikationsliste auf einer Webseite anzeigen

Schritte für die Einbettung in eine Webseite:

  1. Erzeugen Sie ein neues Inhaltselement vom Typ "Bibtex". Dies finden Sie im Reiter "Plug-Ins".
  2. Im Reiter "Plug-In" des neuen Inhaltselements ist nun der Typ "Bibtex" bereits vorausgewählt. 
  3. Tragen Sie in das Feld "URL" die die zu verwendende *.bib-Datei aus oder fügen, falls es sich um eine externe Datei handelt, die http-Adresse der *.bib-Datei ein.
  4. Speichern – fertig.

Wenn gewünscht, können Sie weitere Einstellungen vornehmen:

  1. Die Sortierung der dargestellten Einträge (nach Publikation oder Jahr).
  2. Nach Publikationstypen filtern
    • Alle anzeigen (keine Filterung)
    • Nur ausgewählte anzeigen: Setzt voraus, dass im Feld darunter bestimmte Publikationsarten ausgewählt sind. Nur die ausgewählten werden dann ausgegeben.
    • Alle anzeigen, außer ausgewählte: Setzt voraus, dass im Feld darunter bestimmte Publikationsarten ausgewählt sind. Die ausgewählten werden dann weggelassen.

Aktualisieren: Herunterladen, bearbeiten und neu bereitstellen

Da .bib-Dateien ein spezielles Format besitzen, können sie nicht direkt in TYPO3 bearbeitet werden. Will man eine solche Publikationsliste aktualisieren, sind daher drei Schritte notwendig:

1. Vorhandene .bib-Datei aus TYPO3 herunterladen

Dieser Schritt ist nur dann erforderlich, wenn Sie die aktuelle .bib-Datei nicht sowieso bereits auf Ihrem lokalen Computer vorliegen haben. In dem Fall können Sie die Datei dann aus TYPO3 herunterladen.

  • Klicken Sie in der Dateiliste auf das Drei-Punkte-Menü neben der .bib-Datei und dort im Kontextmenü auf "Herunterladen".

2. Die Datei mit geeigneter Literaturverwaltungs-Software bearbeiten

Die .bib-Datei kann mit einer entsprechenden Software bearbeitet werden. Als Literaturverwaltungsprogramme bieten sich z.B. JabRef, Citavi oder Endnote an:

  • JabRef ist ein kostenloses Programm, das für Windows, MacOS und Linux heruntergeladen werden kann.
    JabRef - Free Reference Manager
  • Citavi kann auf Computern, die von den IT-Diensten der Uni ausgeliefert wurden und in die Windows-Domäne eingebunden sind, über die Novell Zenworks Application installiert werden. 
    Zusätzlich kann Citavi auch auf dem eigenen Computer installiert werden, für Studierende und Beschäftigte gibt es eine zentrale Lizenz. Weitere Informationen und Download siehe hier:

  • CitaviWeb: Die Online-Version von Citavi kann im Browser benutzt werden, ohne dass eine Software installiert werden muss. Dazu richtet man sich unter Verwendung seiner Uni-Mailadresse ein Citvavi-Login ein:

  • Endnote wird ebenfalls für Uniangehörige kostenlos angeboten. Die Oberfläche des Programms ist englischsprachig.
    Software-Übersicht der IT-Dienste
  • TYPO3: Ja, auch direkt in TYPO3 können bib-Dateien bearbeitet werden! Allerdings sieht man dann nur ihren technischen Aufbau, d.h. die Bearbeitung erfolgt nicht anhand einer komfortablen Eingabemaske wie bei einem Literaturverwaltungsprogramm, sondern man sieht den Strukturcode der bib-Datei direkt. Da die Datei bei falschen Eingaben unbrauchbar werden kann, ist dies für die meisten Leute sicherlich keine empfehlenswerte Methode!
    Wer hingegen genau weiß, was er tut (auf eigenes Risiko):
    In der Dateiliste kann man auf das Dateisymbol einer bib-Datei klicken. Im Kontextmenü erscheint dann ganz oben der Eintrag „Inhalt bearbeiten”.

3. Aktualisierte .bib-Datei neu in TYPO3 hochladen

Die aktualisierte .bib-Datei kann nun neu in TYPO3 hochgeladen werden. Dabei ist es wichtig, die vorhandene Datei zu ersetzen:

  1. Klicken Sie in der Dateiliste auf den Drei-Punkte-Button neben der *.bib-Datei und im Kontextmenü dann auf "Ersetzen". Es öffnet sich dann ein kleines Fenster.
  2. Aktieren Sie das Häkchen "Aktuellen Dateinamen beibehalten".
  3. Wählen Sie mittels "Durchsuchen" die überarbeitete Datei auf Ihrem Computer aus und laden sie hoch.

Auf diese Weise wird die ursprüngliche Datei bei identischem Dateinamen durch die neue ersetzt - dies ich wichtig, damit sie vom BibTeX-Modul in der Webseite weiterhin gefunden wird.

Eventuelle Fehler in *.bib-Dateien

Damit die HTML-Umwandlung für die Webseiten-Darstellung korrekt funktioniert, muss die verwendete *.bib-Datei ein gültiges Format haben. Abweichungen von diesem Format können zu einer fehlerhaften Darstellung führen.

Wie die Felder in der bib-Datei technisch definiert sind, können Sie sehen, indem Sie in der öffentlichen Darstellung den bibtex-Link der Publikation anklicken und dadurch den Eintrag sichtbar machen. 

Beispiele:

  • Falsche Eingabe im Namensfeld bei mehreren Autoren:
    • falsch: Max Mustermann, Fredi Ferenczi
    • korrekt: Mustermann, Max and Ferenczi, Fredi
    • korrekt: Max Mustermann and Fredi Ferenczi

  • Jahresangabe von Publikationen: Damit eine chronologische Sortierung der Liste möglich ist, muss für die meisten Publikationen das year-Feld (Publikationsjahr) angegeben sein. Es genügt nicht, wenn z.B. stattdessen ein date-Feld vorhanden ist.

  • Bei den Publikationstypen sollten keine Eigen-Erfindungen verwendet werden. Für diese existiert dann nämlich keine Formatierungsdefinition, was zu einer unerwünschten Darstellung führen kann.

Wurden Fehler gefunden?
TYPO3 informiert intern bei den BibTeX-Elementen in den betreffenden Webseiten automatisch darüber, ob in der eingebundenen *.bib-Datei mögliche Probleme gefunden wurden (siehe Bild).
