Classical and quadratic Chabauty

Chabauty's method can be used to compute the rational points on higher genus curves whose Jacobians have Mordell-Weil strictly less than the genus; it is based on p-adic integrals. After discussing Chabauty's method, I will present joint work with J. Balakrishnan and A. Besser which uses iterated p-adic integrals to compute the integral points on hyperelliptic curves having rank = genus. If time permits, I will also discuss some variations and extensions.
