ICBM Promovierendenvertretung

Die Doktorandenvertreter*innen des ICBM arbeiten eng mit dem Direktorium zusammen und stehen in regelmäßigem Austausch mit den Doktorand*innen der Partneruniversitäten. Promovierendenvertretungen

Als OLTECH-Doktorandenvertreter*innen sind wir eine Schnittstelle zwischen den Promovierenden und der OLTECH-Graduiertenschule.
Wir unterstützen den wissenschaftlichen Erfahrungsaustausch und den Kontakt innerhalb der OLTECH-Promovierendenschaft und zwischen den anderen Graduiertenschulen der Universität Oldenburg. Wir setzen uns für die Belange, Bedürfnisse und Interessen aller Nachwuchswissenschaftlerinnen und Nachwuchswissenschaftler der OLTECH ein und vertreten sie in verschiedenen Gremien. An den Sitzungen des OLTECH-Direktoriums nehmen wir mit beratender Stimme teil. 

Wir möchten diese Plattform nutzen, um eure Erfahrung an der Graduiertenschule integrativer, vielfältiger, offener und einladender zu gestalten.
Doktorandinnen und Doktoranden können sich an uns wenden, wenn sie Probleme mit ihrem Arbeitsumfeld, der Sprache, der Betreuung oder Fragen zu ihrer Promotion haben. Wir wollen den Kontakt und den Austausch unter den Promovierenden fördern und organisieren regelmäßige Treffen für die OLTECH Mitglieder.

Justin Klimek 

 Working Group: Nanophotonics and Interfaces and Hybrid Catalysts

"My name is Justin and I studied chemistry in Oldenburg. Now I am working on my PhD thesis in the Physical and Technical Chemistry department in the Nanophotonics and Interfaces and Hybrid Catalysts working groups, where I focus on the development and understanding of novel catalysts for the transformation of greenhouse gases into more valuable products.
Besides my research I engage in the the local Young Chemists Network (JCF) and spend my free time with board games, films and theatre."

Selma Polte

"I am Selma Polte and recently moved to Oldenburg to start my PhD at the department for Psychology at Faculty VI. 
In my PhD thesis, I will investigate a novel ultrasound technique for non-invasive brain stimulation in Alzheimer patients and, therefore, cooperate with the Evangelisches Krankenhaus. 
Besides my research, I am enthusiastic about all kinds of (outdoor) sports including bouldering, horse riding,  snowboarding, and surfing. I am looking forward to connect with and represent the matters of my fellow doctoral students."

Evgenii Shvedovskii (Vertretung)

"I am a PhD student in the RTG *Neuromodulation of Motor and Cognitive Function in Brain Health and Disease* (RTG 2783) and a research fellow at the University Clinic of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, Psychosomatics, and Psychotherapy. I studied clinical psychology and neuropsychology at Moscow State University of Psychology and Education.  

My research focuses on cognitive impairments and cognitive recovery in substance use disorders among adolescents and young children. Additionally, I am interested in understanding changes in interference control across the lifespan under the influence of substance use and other conditions.  

 Beyond my research activities, I am involved in organizing the RTG Summer School 25"

Konstantin Rücker 

 Molecular and Nanoscale Science

I studied chemistry in Oldenburg and am now working on my PhD Thesis in Technical Chemistry at the Carl von Ossietzky Universität Oldenburg, in which I do my research at the German Aerospace Center (DLR). Besides studying novel electrocatalysts I do sports, cook alot and am involved in the local Young Chemists Network (JCF).

I am pleased to introduce myself as the Deputy PhD Representative for Faculty VI. My name is Johannes, and I am currently conducting my PhD research at the University of Oldenburg and Groningen, focusing on non-invasive deep brain stimulation. As the PhD Representative, it is my role to address your concerns, foster collaboration, and enhance the overall doctoral student experience. I am dedicated to actively listening to your feedback and working towards constructive solutions. I am here to advocate for your rights, provide guidance, and create opportunities for academic and professional success.

I have a particular interest in the development of OLTECH and promoting better collaboration with the University of Groningen. In addition to my research, I enjoy spending my time reading, running, and engaging in theatre.

I encourage you to reach out to me with your ideas and suggestions for improvement. Your input is valuable in shaping a positive and rewarding experience for all doctoral students.
