As part of the aesthetic project "Zeros and Ones", the participants developed design concepts for the central interior wall in the new "WorkPlace" of the KDO (Kommunale Datenverarbeitung Oldenburg) in winter semester 2024/25. The design was intended to reflectthe central topic of "digitalisation / Computing Science" as a visually and discursively conveyed aesthetic, media and social phenomenon. The design proposals could interpret the theme freely, with a few restrictions, particularly in terms of form. Utilisation-specific, architectural and social framework conditions of the location could also be included in the designs. The implementation of the selected design "CyberCafé" will take place in the summer and summer semesters 2025.
