Hollow body with a view

Object, sculpture, mixed media

The exhibition can be seen from 7 April to 12 May 2017 in building A14. It shows the works from the project course of the same name from WS 16/17.

The students trialled various sculptural processes and materials. In the introductory phase, objects were created from paper, papier-mâché, wax, clay and plaster. They learnt the building and casting processes.

The theme was the exploration of abstract sculptural qualities such as surrounding space, interior space, hollow space and perspective.

After the introduction, the students developed their own objects. They were free to choose their own materials.
