As part of the two-semester project course "Bildfolgen" (WS 16/17 and SoSe 17), the students developed artistic works, whereby the topic and medium were optional.

The exhibition can be seen until 6 July in the Hörsaalzentrum (Haarentor campus, building A14, Uhlhornsweg 86). The building is open on weekdays from 8.00 am to 8.00 pm.


Lena Baltz paints floating landscapes on wood with brown ink. Maria Borgmann organises an annual German-American football meeting in her home town, from which she develops drawings. In her object boxes, Laura Bussmann explores the traditional and modern influences of a people living in northern Scandinavia. Cici Nurcan translates the aesthetics of the crocheted doilies of her grandmothers living in eastern Turkey into colourful pictures. Antonia Friese processes the impressions of a trip to Yosemite National Park into a multi-part, precisely watercoloured landscape panorama. Jacqueline Kuhnke, on the other hand, is continuing to develop the portraits she has been working on since the start of her studies. Jemima Müller and Kristina Sell explore the principles of seriality and abstraction in their drawings. Nora Müller explores the qualities of aleatoric processes in her painting. Jitka Wößner accompanies the creation process of her paintings on film, resulting in the 12-minute film essay "bildfluss". Hendrikje Polkehn processes personal impressions and feelings from her everyday life into drawings and collages, which she records in an artist's book.

The posters developed by Laura Ohmes, on the other hand, are quite informative in the sense of commercial graphics, showing the academic appointments of railway employees.

Jelena Duve and Loreen Koch have developed personal graphic novels. These will be shown together with the graphic novels by Marc Büsing, Kai Janßen, Hendrik Meyer and Kristina Smirnova, which have not yet been shown here, in a separate exhibition in the university library in autumn.

The film "bildfluss" will be shown on 29 July at 12.15 in A8 001.
