On 22 January 2019, students from Carl von Ossietzky University will be showing their thematic film series from two events of performative artistic media practice at the Institute of Art and Visual Culture at CineK. Under the direction of Anke Fischer, two experimental film series have been created since the summer semester 2018, which, although they are linked by the formal and structural conception of the contributions, remain very different in terms of content.

For the cinema performance, the students developed a video series collectively. Unpredictable connections arise between films, velvet and shades of grey in the dark auditorium. The assembled interrogations of materiality, man and image machine pass through space and audience in a rather
vague unit of time in the cinema cocoon.
