Introduction: Sabine Wallach, University of Oldenburg Exhibition from 18 March - 27 April 2013 at Peterstraße 1, 26121 Oldenburg Opening hours: Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri 11.00-18.00, Sat 11.00-14.00 21 children from Drielake primary school and 11 students, 1 teacher and 2 project leaders have set off in six small mixed groups in search of clues in the children's home and school environment: The urban forest and the animals that live in it are explored; the children express their imaginative vision of how the inhabitants of the forest live together in a stop-motion film. Lake Drielak is scrutinised (water samples). The scrap yard in Osternburg provides the garb for a tree on Lake Drielak: unusual swings are created from old metal and tin scraps. Geocaches are hidden and provided with tasks for the finders; a wonder castle is built for the Wunderburgpark. Found objects are given a new meaning. Stories from Osternburg by Monika Barkemeyer become the basis for a paper theatre play. In the multi-generational house, senior citizens talk about their childhood and show the children their favourite places in Osternburg.
