Noise and television images ....unpredictable links between man, sea, eye, apparatus and cinematography in Emden ...Approaching marine visual blogging and biological cinematics in Emden
The film series from the artistic media practice at the Institute of Art and Visual Culture at the University of Oldenburg brings together student video essays under the direction of Anke Fischer. Realisations on everyday life, culture and language images were conceived and produced on site in the video workshop "Testbildstelle" during the Emden Film Festival 2016 and further developed within participatory formats.
Details:
Videogruppe #1 examines the connection between text and image in movement and time axes. Traditional and contemporary word games and contributions form the basis of this collection of monologues, dialogues that explore the use of language, titles and text banners.
The group #2 Found Footage, creates a sound archive with film narratives of festival visitors and assembles new stories from them by collecting found footage videos of guests in Emden and linking them to a new narrative.
